Paris-educated Shanghainese designer, Nio Ni, founded indie label Miss Mean in 2008.

Many of the looks are inspired by Ni's love of all things vintage and she reworks many historical references into her collections. Designs are intelligent, yet her unashamedly use of color and mixing of fabrics also add an element of playfulness.

Ni loves to work with luxurious fabrics such as silk, velvet and leather, which combined with her sophisticated tailoring create feminine, attention grabbing looks.
